Senior Finance Manager Job Description

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of end-to-end accounting and finalization processes. We are seeking a highly experienced finance professional to oversee international accounting aspects, manage advanced accounting activities, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards.

  • Manage accounting entries and transaction flows, maintaining strong control over processes to support smooth financial operations.
  • Apply expertise in deferred revenue and cost recognition in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely documentation, systematic filing, and maintenance of financial records to support audits and internal reviews.
Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing international accounting functions while ensuring compliance with respective local GAAP requirements.
  • Partnering with business teams during customer contract finalization to evaluate and address financial and compliance implications.
  • Monitoring customer accounts, conducting reconciliations, and driving proactive follow-up on outstanding receivables.
  • Supervising and guiding accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate settlements with partners and vendors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tally.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion or SAP is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
