Job Title: HR Generalist

Our organization is dedicated to empowering children from low-income communities through innovative school programs.

As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the HR team with recruitment, onboarding, data management, performance management, employee engagement, and other HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with School Leaders to define staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to identify high-risk or critical roles and develop proactive recruitment plans.
  • Manage end-to-end hiring processes, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and offer rollout for all school-based roles.
  • Track recruitment metrics to ensure hiring quality and process efficiency.
HR Operations, Data & Compliance:
  • Oversee all HR operations for Nagpur schools, including onboarding, payroll coordination, exit formalities, and related documentation.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with applicable laws.
  • Support internal audits and maintain updated HR MIS and personnel records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
  • Serve as a key HR partner to all schools in Nagpur, addressing team-level concerns and people issues.
  • Support employee queries and concerns with empathy and fairness.
  • Promote a positive work environment rooted in care and respect.
Policies, Processes & Communication:
  • Ensure timely execution of HR policies and processes.
  • Communicate HR policies effectively to employees.
Team Management & Collaboration:
  • Manage, mentor, and build the capacity of 1-2 HR team members.
  • Contribute to HR team priorities beyond the city.
