Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as a Systems Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production servers and infrastructure components. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting server-related issues, implementing backup and recovery solutions, and dominating Active Directory and Group Policies Objects manipulation.

You will also be expected to have in-depth knowledge of various technologies, including DHCP, NTP, DNS, SMB/NFS, job scheduling, systems process monitoring, LDAP, certificates management, and virtualization tools such as VMWare. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing logs to analyze data, supporting other teams to test and integrate proprietary applications, and working closely with the security team to ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in configuring solutions, creating processes, and procedures to meet cybersecurity and market best practices.
  • Understanding of proprietary solutions and their interactions with the infrastructure.
  • Ability to develop procedures and process for troubleshooting and prepare training material on market best practices.
  • Experience in analyzing, testing possibilities, and suggesting improvements on current environment targeting cost and performance efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or 5+ years of experience in the IT infrastructure field.
  • Advanced knowledge of VMWare operating system family, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Windows family.
  • Storage devices advanced knowledge (MSAs, 3PAR, Synology, and/or others).

This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and deliver activities and projects on time. You must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25lbs and use various hand tools to test/replace PC components. We also require the ability to perform repetitive motion with wrists, hands, and fingers for 6 hours per day. The selected candidate will be required to work on-call and perform remote support on weekends and non-regular hours based on a pre-defined agenda.
