
Strategic Business Advisor

As a strategic advisor, you will lead the delivery effort on projects, playing a critical role in every aspect of the consulting engagement, from opportunity assessment through final implementation.
You will have the opportunity to assist with sales and business development and work directly with teams in both the US and India.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with client stakeholders by helping them manage and resolve various operational issues
- Conducting interviews with key stakeholders to develop a current state assessment, evaluating against industry leading standards to suggest savings opportunities/operational improvements
- Analyzing client spend data and creating project deliverables, conducting in-depth research into various markets and industries
- Developing process maps, identifying gaps and recommending improvement opportunities
- Collaborating with client stakeholders to draft and release RFPs
- Supporting client stakeholders as well as suppliers during the bid evaluation and supplier selection process
- Developing financial models (TCO) to understand the true cost of owning a particular good/service, presenting to key decision makers/stakeholders
- Evaluating suppliers' pricing proposals to identify cost reduction levers and drafting negotiation strategy presentations
The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of prior experience in a consulting firm or industry, with specific experience within operations, supply-chain and/or procurement required.
They must be excited about working in a start-up atmosphere, comfortable with ambiguity, and have an ownership-driven mindset. Additionally, they should possess proven problem-solving and time management ability, excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills, and high motivation to work autonomously.
The position requires advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to create complex formulas and analyze large data sets.
Key qualifications include:
