Highly Skilled System Engineer Wanted

Our organization seeks a seasoned professional to lead the management of Linux servers, oversee Kubernetes clusters, and supervise on-premises data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Linux Server Administration: Manage, configure, and optimize Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar) including applying patches, performing security hardening, and tuning for performance.
  • Kubernetes Cluster Management: Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Data Center Operations: Supervise physical infrastructure including servers, storage systems, and networking hardware in on-premises data centers.
  • Security Compliance: Apply updates and security patches to Linux-based Kubernetes environments and ensure alignment with internal policies.
  • Collaboration Support: Work closely with global teams to support enterprise systems and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Incident Management: Manage service tickets effectively using tools such as ServiceNow or Salesforce.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or equivalent). Certifications like RHCSA or RHCE are an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience in Kubernetes administration. Certifications like CKA or CKS are beneficial.
  • Experience working with bare-metal infrastructure, including servers, storage arrays, and networking components.
  • Good understanding of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers. Familiarity with Juniper OS is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure layers including hardware, OS, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Bash, or Python is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack is an asset.
