Linux Embedded Systems Developer

This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing Linux-based embedded systems for various applications.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Linux Embedded Systems Developer. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and enhancing Linux kernels, device drivers, and firmware for a range of embedded platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux kernel development, C programming, and ARM/RISC-V architecture. You should also be familiar with Yocto, Buildroot, and Git-based workflows.

A bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Linux BSP and driver development is also necessary.

  • Languages: C, Python, Bash
  • Operating Systems: Linux (kernel development), Windows (development environment)
  • Tools: JTAG, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, Git

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and optimize Linux kernels, device drivers, and firmware for embedded platforms.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and system-level testing.
  3. Perform board bring-up, hardware validation, and low-level debugging using JTAG/GDB.
  4. Develop and customize embedded Linux distributions using Yocto, Buildroot, and U-Boot.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Linux BSP and driver development.
  • Strong proficiency in C programming with an in-depth understanding of Linux kernel internals.
  • Experience with ARM / RISC-V architectures.
  • Expertise in Yocto, Buildroot, and Git-based workflows.
  • Proficiency with debugging tools: JTAG, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.
