Chief Operating Officer Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer to lead our India operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of institutional functions, including academic operations, financial management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large teams, managing complex operations, and driving measurable institutional outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive campus strategy, formulating and managing annual budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring financial sustainability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a campus strategy aligned with our global mission, ensuring long-term growth, academic distinction, and market relevance.
  • Lead day-to-day campus operations, including administration, student services, infrastructure, and faculty recruitment.
  • Formulate and manage annual budgets, optimize resource allocation, and drive financial sustainability.
  • Ensure full compliance with Indian higher education regulations and internal academic policies.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with industry leaders, academic institutions, and government bodies.
  • Champion student success through improved academic support, research opportunities, and campus life.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field. A doctoral degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in academic administration, higher education management, or corporate strategy, preferably with exposure to both Indian and international education systems.
  • Proven expertise in navigating regulatory frameworks, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, manage complex operations, and drive measurable institutional outcomes.
  • Strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style.
