Director of Farm Operations

We are seeking a Program Director to lead our field operations, oversee team members, and maintain strong relationships with farmers.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing people and farmer relationships, as well as a passion for improving water quality and maintaining healthy stocking densities.
The responsibilities of the Program Director include:
- Managing day-to-day operations of the farm program
- Overseeing the implementation of protocols and experiments
- Ensuring timely and accurate data entry by team members
- Conducting audits and quality control to ensure adherence to protocols
The Program Director will also be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining relationships with farmers
- Maintaining accurate records of farm information
- Spend a significant amount of time in the field engaging with staff, farmers, and other stakeholders
The successful candidate will have:
- Nationality: The right to work in India
- Experience with field programs: At least 1 year of experience managing field programs
- Language: Fluent in oral and written Telugu and English
- Location: Full-time presence in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh required
- Ability to drive a motorbike or scooter on rural roads
The preferred candidate will have:
- Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Technical expertise: Previous experience with water quality analysis and management in aquaculture
