Cloud Platform Engineer Role

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the core components of our internal developer platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the overall architecture and design of our cloud infrastructure.

  1. Design and Develop APIs: Utilize Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to design and develop robust APIs that meet the needs of our development teams.
  2. Build Self-Service Capabilities: Create self-service capabilities that enable developers to provision infrastructure, deploy applications, and manage their environments independently, streamlining the software delivery process.
  3. Implement Golden Paths: Establish golden paths for common development tasks, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices throughout the platform.
  4. Contribute to Cloud Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools into the platform, driving innovation and improvement.
  5. Developer Enablement: Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and pain points, providing training and support to ensure effective use of the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely, facilitating seamless communication across teams.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
