Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned logistics professional to assume the role of Executive-Plant Logistics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of plant logistics operations.

About the Role:

  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement effective logistics plans to ensure seamless supply chain management.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
  • Documentation Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant documentation regulations, including GST Invoices, E-way Bills, Export Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, BOLs, Customs, etc.
  • Performance Analysis: Generate and analyze management information systems (MIS) to optimize logistics operations and improve overall performance.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • 3-8 years of experience in plant logistics.
    • Strong knowledge of EXIM and Logistics.
    • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to work in a rotational shift environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of logistics documents and data.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with logistics operations.
  • Analyze and report on logistics metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Experience with total quality management (TQM) approaches.
