Job Title: IBM Sterling OMS Technical Specialist

 

Our organization is seeking an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Technical Specialist to lead the implementation and customization of IBM Sterling solutions for our clients. As a technical specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying IBM Sterling solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management (Sterling 9.1) and IBM Sterling Fulfillment Solutions.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in custom database extensions, user exits, agents, and building Web Services.
  • Experience with distributed version control systems like GIT and issue tracking tools such as Jira.

 

Preferred qualifications include domain knowledge of order management and store systems, experience with IBM Sterling, Java, JEE, JMS, HTML/CSS, WebLogic 10, Oracle 11 in Retail software, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and customization of IBM Sterling OMS and Java-based solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Configure and customize IBM Sterling OMS and Java-based custom applications software.
  • Conduct system testing and quality assurance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IBM Sterling OMS software.
