Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team and help us scale our automation efforts.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building automation frameworks, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java, and experience with REST API testing and integrating API validations into automation pipelines.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to understand requirements and define automation strategies.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts that ensure product quality across different modules.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support frequent and reliable deployments.
  • Analyze test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to faster resolution of defects.
  • Evaluate and adopt new testing tools and technologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  • Strong experience in building automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience with REST API testing and integrating API validations into automation pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
  • Solid understanding of test design principles, test coverage analysis, and automation strategy.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.

Please note that this role is suited for candidates who have worked exclusively on automation without manual testing responsibilities.
