Chartered Accountant (CA) – U.S. Accounting Expert

 

Job Summary:

We seek a highly experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with expertise in U.S. accounting, taxation, and compliance to lead our team's financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing and reviewing U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements, handling tax filings, and managing cross-border accounting and reporting.

The role requires exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and relevant accounting software.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Tax Compliance: Handle federal and state tax filings, including preparation and submission of returns.
  • Cross-Border Accounting: Manage cross-border accounting and reporting for U.S. operations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Audits and Reconciliations: Perform audits, reconciliations, and financial analysis as per U.S. standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Accounting Process Advice: Provide expert advice on accounting processes, compliance, and regulatory changes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification: Possess the Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and certification.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in U.S. accounting, taxation, and compliance.
  • U.S. GAAP Proficiency: Strong understanding and application of U.S. GAAP principles and standards.
  • Accounting Software Proficiency: Proficient in using relevant accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
