Key Network Infrastructure Role

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled network professional to design, implement and maintain large-scale data center networks.

This position involves:

  • Designing and implementing network architectures for enterprise data centers using Cisco ACI and Nexus platforms.
  • Troubleshooting complex network issues and providing root cause analysis.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure network solutions.
  • Performing network upgrades, migrations and patching with minimal downtime.
  • Maintaining documentation for network configurations, processes and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking protocols: VPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus platforms: 2K, 5K, 7K, 9K.
  • Strong understanding of overlay technologies: VXLAN, BGP EVPN, OTV, LISP.
  • Familiarity with Cisco SDN technologies: Cisco ACI, Standalone VXLAN-Fabric, Cisco DCNM.

A degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Experience with virtualization and container platforms is beneficial.

Network Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Collaborating with the engineering team to design and implement network architectures.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommending improvements to existing infrastructure.
