Job Overview:

The Proposal Engineer will play a pivotal role in preparing and evaluating technical documents for project bidding processes. This encompasses creating detailed technical offers, system architectures, bills of materials, and performing calculations to ensure compliance with specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate customer requirements and produce comprehensive technical responses to requests for quotes (RFQs).
  • Lead core teams to assess customer needs and develop innovative technical solutions.
  • Organize bid initiation and review meetings, ensuring timely clarification on bid submissions.
  • Perform site visits to collect crucial information and address commercial and technical meetings with prospective clients.
  • Coordinate project sales meetings, monitor progress, and prepare weekly reports on project status.
  • Manage material, vendors, subcontractors, and company staff as part of project management duties.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/ENTC/Instrumentation or a related field is required.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical control systems, including DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, MCC, PCC, VFD, APFC & other control panels.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and select switchgear according to motor load lists.
  • Knowledge of current load calculation, bus bar selection, and basic AutoCAD skills.
  • Preparation of GA in Excel and ability to create detailed technical offers, system architectures, BOM, heat load, and power calculations for control panels.
