Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Associate to join our team in the field of Indirect Tax Litigation.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling tax matters, including the preparation of submissions, replies to notices, and appeals.
  • They will also assist clients in responding to departmental enquiries, investigations, and audits.
  • The Senior Associate will prepare replies to show-cause notices and audit responses.
  • Additionally, they will meet with tax officers for hearings as required.
  • Responsibilities will include preparing tax appeals for the Joint Commissioner (Appeals) and Court (Tribunal, High Court/Supreme Court).
  • The successful candidate will also assist seniors in representing clients before judicial forums.
  • Conducting comprehensive research on various topics will be an essential part of the role.
Key Qualifications:
  • A Law Graduate from a reputable institution with a strong academic track record.
  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Tax (GST, Customs, etc.) is preferred.
