Senior Taxation Specialist

The role of a Senior Taxation Specialist is to lead high-performing teams in delivering exceptional tax preparation and review services to global clients.

This leadership position requires a Commerce graduate with advanced knowledge of two software systems, CCH or UltraTax. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in US taxation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and supervise a team of associate accountants.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading complex individual tax preparation and review for 1040 returns
  • Managing international taxation, tax research, transfer pricing, and various tax treaties
  • Preparing and submitting tax returns for clients while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Handling communication from clients and tax authorities, including direct interaction with partners and supervision of Associate accountants
  • Managing numerous client accounts and maintaining knowledge of all source documents, schedules, and output forms

Requirements for this role include:

  • Strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Good English communication skills - verbal and written
  • Excellent reviewer and query resolving skills
  • US Tax Knowledge - CCH or UltraTax mandatory
  • Commerce Graduate - mandatory
  • Advance knowledge of 2 software systems
  • Comfortable with flexible work shifts
