Job Role: Area Operations Manager for Hotels/Hospitality

We are seeking a seasoned Area Operations Manager to oversee the operational readiness of multiple hotels/hotels in our region. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Understand company operations, including standard operating procedures, organisational hierarchy, user demographics, etc.
  2. Implement company defined standards across all departments, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance & engineering, training & development, etc.
  3. Develop and manage human resource development plans while fostering a positive work environment for high overall productivity.
  4. Conduct regular audits to monitor service quality, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
  5. Manage operational budgets by allocating resources effectively and minimising expenses via cost-effective strategies.
  6. Supervise timely hostel pre-launches by ensuring operational readiness and quality checks.
  7. Enhance guest satisfaction by addressing escalations, implementing service improvements, and ensuring a positive experience.
  8. Work closely with other internal departments to achieve business objectives.
  9. Build relationships with industry professionals to stay updated on trends and best practices.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in hospitality/hotel management.
  2. A minimum of 6 years' experience in the hospitality industry, with extensive operational experience in managing multiple properties or regions.
  3. A proven track record of successfully scaling teams, managing diverse operations, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  5. Fluency in English and local language.
  6. Ability to travel and manage hotels/hotels across various locations.
