Lead Hotel Engineering Professional

Our esteemed organization is seeking a highly accomplished and visionary hotel engineering leader to spearhead our hotel engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic business plans that align with the hotel's mission, vision, and values.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the hotel engineering department to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges, ensuring seamless execution of projects and services.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve hotel engineering department performance, adhering to brand standards and best practices.
  • Drive profitability and revenue by directing the Engineering department to optimize resources and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively manage the Engineering department, third-party vendors, and contractors to deliver exceptional service quality.
  • Design and implement robust quality control programs to ensure consistency and excellence in operations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure optimal terms and conditions.
  • Interpret complex plans and contract terms, providing expert guidance to stakeholders, including Engineering team members, management, clients, and vendors.
  • Oversee compliance with local building codes, health, and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Maintain Responsible Business programs and conduct training for the hotel staff.
  • Coordinate hotel renovations and liaison with Regional Technical Services Office, architects, licensing agencies, contractors, and hotel management to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
