Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our team in Indirect Tax Litigation.

You will handle tax matters related to submissions, notices, appeals, and meetings with tax authorities. You will also assist clients in responding to tax departments during investigations and audits.

The role involves preparing submissions, replies to notices, and appeals for tax authorities. You will also meet with tax officers for hearings as required.

In addition, you will prepare tax appeals for the Joint Commissioner (Appeals) and Court (Tribunal, High Court / Supreme Court). You will assist seniors in representation before judicial forums and conduct comprehensive research on various topics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare submissions, replies to notices, and appeals for tax authorities.
  • Meet with tax officers for hearings as required.
  • Prepare tax appeals for the Joint Commissioner (Appeals) and Court (Tribunal, High Court / Supreme Court).
  • Assist seniors in representation before judicial forums.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on various topics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and drafting skills. Strong analytical and researching skills are also essential.

Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals who stay up-to-date with the latest developments in tax and other laws are preferred.
