Financial Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will handle a range of financial operations tasks, including margin calls, collateral management, and interest calculations. This will involve performing cash and position reconciliations across multiple products and platforms, as well as executing and monitoring internal transfers to ensure timely and accurate settlements.

Additionally, the specialist will oversee payment processing and SWIFT transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be necessary to resolve discrepancies and address any issues that arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in cash management, treasury, or derivatives operations
  • Strong understanding of margin models, collateral management, and reconciliations
  • Knowledge of financial products – derivatives (futures, forwards, options, swaps), FX, and related instruments
  • Hands-on experience with payment systems, SWIFT, and settlement processes
  • Exposure to KYC requirements and compliance frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools; familiarity with treasury/settlement systems is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
