Job Title

We are seeking an accomplished Fundraising Director to spearhead our fundraising efforts. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy & Implementation: Develop a comprehensive 3-year fundraising strategy with targets by segment and program; oversee the entire donor lifecycle, design multi-year giving vehicles, and create a balanced pipeline.
  • Partnerships & External Relations: Represent us with credibility, secure strategic MOUs, and co-create bespoke propositions.
  • Brand & Communications: Partner with Comms to run an integrated brand + fundraising calendar, oversee investment-grade proposals, and build crisis-ready messaging and success-story pipelines.
  • Team, Systems & Governance: Lead fundraising efforts across the organization, implement a CRM or DMS, establish clear SOPs, and ensure compliance with Indian and international requirements.
  • Budgeting, Reporting & KPIs: Own the fund development budget, track ROI by channel, and provide monthly board-ready dashboards.
Requirements:
  • A Master's in Marketing/Business/Communications or related field; fundraising certifications a plus.
  • 8–10+ years of direct fundraising with a proven major-gifts and institutional track record (India & international).
  • Experience launching or scaling new initiatives (research, education, skill development, community empowerment preferred).
  • Strong grasp of donor management, digital marketing, brand positioning, and campaign/event orchestration.
  • Regulatory fluency and governance sensibility (FCRA, CSR, 12A/80G; safeguarding; data privacy).
  • Excellent written/oral communication; G-Suite & CRM proficiency.
