Performance Test Specialist:

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our performance engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high performance and scalability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Execute Performance Tests: Develop and execute load, stress, endurance, and other types of performance tests to evaluate application performance under various workloads.
  • Develop Test Strategies and Plans: Create test plans, workload models, and performance test plans to ensure effective testing.
  • Write Test Scripts and Analyze Results: Write test scripts with correlations, parameterization, and custom coding, and analyze performance results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to provide recommendations and insights on performance optimization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Performance Testing & Engineering: 3-5 years of experience in performance testing and engineering, with a strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools.
  • LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling: Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling, with the ability to write test scripts and execute complex tests.
  • Monitoring Tools and Server Log Analysis: Good knowledge of monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic) and server log analysis, with the ability to analyze performance metrics and identify issues.
  • JVM/GC Tuning and Thread Dump/Heap Dump Analysis: Expertise in JVM/GC tuning, thread dump/heap dump analysis, and performance bottleneck resolution.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
