App Monitoring Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned App Monitoring Specialist to bolster our team. The successful candidate will possess an impressive track record in operational application management, user issue troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Monitoring: Configure and maintain Dynatrace, troubleshoot user issues, identify recurring problems, and ensure lasting fixes.
  • Alarming and Alerting: Set up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk across various applications, define and fine-tune alerts, and integrate Dynatrace alerts with incident management tools.
  • Web Technologies and Frameworks: Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks is required.
  • Error Handling and Optimisation: Analyse and optimise application code with regards to error handling and alerting.
  • Synthetic Monitoring and Alarm Management: Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management is essential.
  • ServiceNow or Similar IT Service Management Tools: Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools is highly desirable.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Possess a problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Liaison Role: Experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams is beneficial.
  • ITIL Practices and Principles: Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles is preferred.
Requirements:
