Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for managing costs associated with specialized systems within construction projects.

About the Role

  • Studying project scope in-line with design requirements to ensure accurate cost estimation
  • Validating technical specifications received from the design team to guarantee quality and compliance
  • Optimizing specifications without deviating from client requirements to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
  • Validating Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and backup workings to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Ppresenting BOQs and solutions to management and obtaining approvals to move projects forward
  • Checking and verifying contractor accounts to ensure timely payments and accurate invoicing
  • Preparing amendments and ensuring budget cost analysis is based on benchmark cost matrix to inform decision-making
  • Submitting different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual design to provide clients with choices
  • Exploring new products and taking them to approvals to stay ahead of industry trends
  • Proposing different optimization options in budgets to reduce costs and improve efficiency
