We are seeking an experienced and charismatic individual to serve as our anchor, hosting various events, shows, and functions with enthusiasm and poise. This role will be the face of our organization, ensuring seamless event execution and engaging audiences through live commentary, interactive elements, and informative segments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Event Hosting and Presentation:
    • Serve as the official host for events, conferences, workshops, seminars, cultural functions, sports events, and other programs, showcasing your strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Deliver live commentary, engage with the audience, and create a lively atmosphere by introducing speakers, dignitaries, and guests.
    • Conduct interviews, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions when required, demonstrating your ability to think on your feet.
  • Audience Engagement:
    • Engage with diverse audiences through interactive elements, ice-breakers, and informative segments, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
    • Ensure all event timings are adhered to and manage transitions between segments efficiently.
  • Content Preparation:
    • Collaborate with the event team to understand the theme, objectives, and content of each event, preparing scripts, speeches, and presentations that align with the tone and message.
    • Research relevant topics and information to provide accurate and engaging content, making you a valuable asset to our team.
  • Coordination and Teamwork:
    • Work closely with event coordinators, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution, providing feedback and suggestions to improve the flow of events.
    • Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner during public interactions, upholding our values and messages consistently.
  • Digital Media and Social Engagement:
    • Assist in promoting events through social media platforms and our digital channels, helping to grow our online presence and engagement.
    • Record short video snippets, interviews, or highlights from events for promotional use, adding value to our marketing efforts.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field is essential, with a Master's degree being a significant advantage.
  • Professional Experience:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an anchor, host, or presenter in a professional setting is required, preferably in television, radio, live events, or media.
  • Prior experience in hosting educational or corporate events is highly desirable.
    • Candidate Profile:
    • A confident, dynamic, and energetic personality with excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Able to work under pressure and handle unexpected situations during live events, showing adaptability and resilience.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage responsibilities effectively.
    • Familiarity with media production and event management tools is an added advantage.
