Job Description

As an Academic Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of academic programs. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee course scheduling, curriculum development, and program evaluation in collaboration with faculty and department heads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Academic Program Management: Coordinate logistics for course scheduling, curriculum development, and program evaluation to ensure alignment with institutional goals.
  • Student Records Management: Maintain accurate records of enrolment, grades, transcripts, and academic progress while adhering to data protection regulations.
  • Academic Event Planning: Organize conferences, workshops, and seminars, handling venue booking, registrations, and audiovisual setup with precision.
  • Faculty Support: Provide administrative assistance to faculty members, including processing teaching contracts, course materials, and meeting coordination.
  • Academic Resources and Facilities: Oversee the allocation and use of classrooms, labs, and resources, coordinating facility maintenance to create a conducive learning environment.
  • Technology Integration: Implement and support academic technologies (LMS, online registration, databases), training faculty and students on their effective use.
  • Student Support Services: Collaborate with student support teams to coordinate tutoring, advising, and student success initiatives.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with academic software.
