The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the placement process for students, connecting them with potential employers, and ensuring a smooth transition from education to employment. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates looking to start their careers in recruitment and career services.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with companies to facilitate placement opportunities for students.
- Organize and conduct placement drives and recruitment fairs.
- Assist students in preparing for interviews, including resume writing and mock interviews.
- Coordinate with academic departments to understand student skills and ensure alignment with industry requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of student placements and employer interactions.
- Provide regular updates to management on placement statistics and trends.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes and job market trends in India.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with online job portals and social media for recruitment purposes.
