Job Title:

Building Information Modeller

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our structural engineering team as a Building Information Modeller.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in BIM software, including Revit and AutoCAD, with a good understanding of construction and detailing standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create Accurate Models:
  • Coordinate and collaborate with architects, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure model consistency.
  • Produce detailed drawings, sections, and reinforcement detailing as required.
  • Maintain BIM models and update them as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Follow company BIM standards and ensure compliance with local and international codes.
  • Assist in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or other BIM software.
  • Evaluate quality control of drafted output and manage drawing revisions.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and provide input on constructability and detailing issues.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum [3-5] years of experience as a BIM modeller, with at least [2] years using BIM software.
  • Proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Navisworks.
  • Solid knowledge of structural systems (RC, steel, post-tensioning, etc.) and detailing standards.
  • Experience working on large-scale buildings, infrastructure, or villa projects is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Revit or BIM is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 or other BIM standards.
  • Experience working in consultant or contractor environments in India.
