Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with 7–8 years of overall experience in networking and strong hands-on exposure to Cisco Tetration for a remote contract position. The engineer will be responsible for supporting and managing the customer's Cisco Tetration platform deployed in their Data Center environment, ensuring effective monitoring, policy enforcement, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 2 operational support for Cisco Tetration, including day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Assist in the configuration and deployment of Cisco Tetration components and sensors.
  • Support the implementation of application segmentation and micro-segmentation policies across the data center environment.
  • Analyze telemetry data to ensure network visibility, security posture, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal IT and security teams to troubleshoot policy conflicts and application visibility issues.
  • Assist with upgrades, patches, and performance tuning of the Tetration platform.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support logs related to Cisco Tetration operations.
  • Escalate issues to L3/engineering teams as necessary, following incident management protocols.
