About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT infrastructure specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to users, installing and configuring hardware and software components, and ensuring the smooth functioning of classroom IT systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Install and configure hardware and software components throughout various network infrastructure devices
  • Ensure seamless functioning of classroom IT systems including projectors, smartboards, audio systems, etc.
  • Support and maintain LMS (Learning Management System) platforms; coordinate with academic departments for smooth usage
  • Perform regular system monitoring, verify integrity, and availability of hardware/software resources
  • Provide basic network troubleshooting; hands-on support for routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco preferred)
  • Maintain inventory and documentation of assets, licenses, and configurations

Requirements:

  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7 Windows 10 Server 2008 Server 2012 Server 2016 Server 2022 and Mac OS
  • Active Directory knowledge and experience
  • Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, and APs
  • RMM and PSA Experience
