Job Title: Infrastructure Design Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Design Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on social infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed designs and engineering inputs for social infrastructure projects.
  • Review and finalize structural designs, drawings, and estimates.
  • Conduct structural analysis and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Evaluate foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects.
  • Prepare design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams and support capacity building.
Requirements
  • Strong expertise in structural engineering design for buildings and social infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in structural design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Background
  • Prior experience in DPR preparation for social infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in both government and donor-funded assignments.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and disaster-resilient design practices.
