Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure services on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and load balancers.
  • Implement security controls and monitoring tools to ensure the integrity and availability of cloud resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on cloud infrastructure best practices and architectures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and load balancers.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Bash, and experience with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance frameworks, such as HIPAA or PCI-DSS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL Foundations Certification.
  • Desired Certifications: AZ-104, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer.
  • Additional technology areas and experience: Linux, PowerShell, BASH, Cloud platform specific automation tooling, additional scripting languages, additional software development languages, data experience, networking experience.
