Job Title:

Field Quality

Location: Pan India

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our field quality initiatives, supporting renewable energy projects in Wind and Solar portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project-specific field quality plans, ITPs, SOPs, checklists, and method statements.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate quality management systems, regulatory standards, and project specifications.
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of materials, executed work activities, and installations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor civil construction activities, electrical, and mechanical component installations and commissioning for wind and solar projects.
  • Conduct regular quality audits at project sites, verifying compliance with approved procedures, standards, and specifications. Identify gaps, document findings, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
  • Identify, document, and resolve non-conformity (NCR), lead root cause analysis (RCA), and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain inspection reports, checklists, test certificates, and quality records for audit compliance. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and support project quality scorecards and digital dashboards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to foster a quality culture within the organization.
  • Coordinate with internal and external customers for timely completion of all QA and inspection activities at site.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: B.Tech/B.E/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in site project quality roles under Civil or Mechanical domains in Renewable Energy Projects (Solar, Wind, etc.).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance & Quality Control Process, QMS, and awareness of relevant ISO/IS/IEC standards in Renewable Energy Projects.
  • Hands-on experience using quality tools, problem-solving techniques, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Passion for Renewable Energy and commitment to Quality Excellence.
