Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary professional to lead the planning, execution, and lifecycle management of Renewable Energy projects.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with deep technical and project execution knowledge in the clean energy domain, who can drive strategic growth, ensure operational excellence, and deliver high-impact results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects – from concept, feasibility, design, execution, commissioning to handover and operations.
  • Lead large cross-functional project teams across multiple delivery models.
  • Align project execution with corporate vision, growth strategy, and sustainability goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology options, project partnerships, and business models for optimal impact.
  • Project Execution & Delivery: Oversee multiple project portfolios with a sharp focus on timely delivery, quality control, and cost optimization.
  • Implement robust project monitoring systems (dashboards, KPIs, risk tracking).
  • Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and environmental compliance for all project stages.
  • Operations & Maintenance: Set up efficient operations and maintenance frameworks for long-term performance and asset lifecycle management of deployed renewable assets.
  • Ensure customer service level agreements, uptime commitments, and remote monitoring standards are met.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including clients, partners, vendors, and regulators.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with state nodal agencies and central renewable bodies.
  • Team Building & Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams across locations.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on ownership, accountability, and results.
  • Business Development Support: Collaborate with business development, commercial, and finance teams to assess new opportunities and structure viable project proposals.
  • Provide techno-commercial input for investor presentations and joint venture structuring.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Energy Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 18–25 years with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles in the Renewable Energy domain.
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end solar, wind, hybrid, or renewable energy projects.
  • Experience across multiple delivery models – EPC, IPP/Developer model, and operations and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling capital-intensive projects and large field operations.
