Job Title: Energy Analyst

Overview of the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Energy Analyst to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in wind energy data analysis, forecasting, or project development.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & Energy Modeling: Collect, process, and analyze wind resource data from meteorological towers, SCADA systems, and external sources.
  • Perform wind resource assessments and energy yield modeling using software such as WindPRO, WAsP, or OpenWind.
  • Evaluate historical energy production and analyze deviations from expected performance.
Forecasting & Reporting:
  • Prepare short-term and long-term energy production forecasts to support operations and grid management.
  • Generate detailed reports on energy yield, performance ratios, availability, and other KPIs.
  • Present technical findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Project Support & Optimization:
  • Assist in technical due diligence, feasibility studies, and site assessments for new wind projects.
  • Support turbine performance analysis and identify potential areas for efficiency improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to optimize asset performance.
Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Work with meteorological experts, OEMs, and project developers to gather and validate data.
  • Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements related to energy generation.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Certifications or training in wind energy analytics or modeling tools is advantageous.
  • 37 years of experience in wind energy data analysis, forecasting, or project development.
  • Familiarity with wind resource assessment tools and renewable energy industry standards.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
