We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to lead our Industrial Solutions and Automation sales efforts. This role is responsible for building and managing a strong sales pipeline in the industrial safety and plant operations domain.
The primary focus will be on identifying and engaging decision-makers across factories, plants, and large facilities. The successful candidate will need to effectively pitch automation and inspection solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage daily reporting formats, MOM (minutes of meetings), and CRM updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline in the industrial safety and plant operations sector
- Identifying and approaching key decision-makers at factories, plants, and large facilities
- Presenting automation and inspection solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Managing daily reporting formats, MOM updates, and CRM data entry
Client Engagement and Solutioning:
- Collaborating with technical teams to tailor solutions for client needs
- Traveling as required to client sites, plants, and factories for meetings and relationship-building
- Ensuring successful project execution and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Performance and Growth:
- Achieving and consistently exceeding monthly and annual sales targets
- Driving structured reporting and data-driven sales strategies
- Leveraging incentives, bonuses, and rapid career growth opportunities for high performers
Requirements:
- 3-10 years' experience in B2B Sales/Business Development, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, plant/factory safety, or automation
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical solutions into business impact
- Proficiency in Excel, CRM tools, reporting, and pipeline tracking
- Experience working with Safety Heads, Plant Managers, or Operations Leaders is highly desirable
- A target-oriented mindset with readiness to travel as needed
