Software Development Professional

This role presents an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that drive innovation and excellence in the aerospace sector.

About the Role

The position involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing aviation software products. You will collaborate with a Scrum team adhering to best practices in software craftsmanship, including test-driven development and pair programming peer reviews.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining necessary software design and architecture documentation. Additionally, you will actively support reducing technical debt and provide support to the development of internal competency and resources for critical skill sets.

The selected individual should be available to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance aviation software products.
  • Maintain and improve application software related to aircraft and air traffic management.
  • Potentially integrate with other products to provide a world-class modeling and simulation tool suite for global customers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations within the organization and external partners.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, aerospace, or other closely related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Aeronautical data, Aerospace, Aviation domain specifically in below areas: Aircraft performance computation optimization, Airline flight operations and piloting, Deck applications, Software Development and Systems engineering.
  • Preferred qualifications include 4 years C industrial application development experience, 1-2 years experience in Java, Javascript stack, node JS, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Actual airplane simulation, CSF, real-time, Window32, 64 and MS experience.
