We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Security Expert to join our team. As a member of our engineering team, you will play a key role in developing and implementing secure software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create test cases for Fortify Aviator, a comprehensive application security solution that empowers organizations to develop secure software.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the OWASP Top-10, CWE, and secure coding practices to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with the Fortify Aviator prompt engineers to improve the accuracy of test case predictions.
  • Collaborate with product management, tool engineers, and Fortify SAST researchers to drive the expansion of Fortify Aviator.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in software development as a Security Champion.
  • Expertise in application security, including knowledge of OWASP Top-10, CWE, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with at least one SAST tool and dealing with false positives.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, particularly Python.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver on expectations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Fortify SAST experience.
  • Data science or AI experience.

This is a full-time permanent position, requiring strong technical skills and a passion for software security.

About this Role:

This role involves driving the expansion of Fortify Aviator by creating more test cases. You will also be working with the Fortify Aviator prompt engineers to make Fortify Aviator predict your test cases correctly.
