Senior Manager, Software Engineering Leads

Senior Manager, Software Engineering Leads are responsible for guiding and directing a team of skilled software engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions in a fast-paced Agile SAFe environment.

About the Role
This role involves providing technical leadership and operational direction for enterprise eCommerce solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading teams, driving architecture decisions, overseeing development cycles, and empowering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-focused digital products.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of skilled software engineers and architects to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions
* Guide the team in developing robust Java-based applications using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot and microservices architecture
* Mentor and coach team members, develop their careers, and champion a culture of continuous learning and innovation
* Partner with product owners to translate business needs into technical strategies, roadmaps, and actionable development plans
* Establish standards for design, development, testing, and documentation across the engineering team
* Collaborate across business units to align on technical approaches, improve code reuse, and share established methods

Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
* 12 years of experience in software engineering with at least 5 years leading high-impact development teams
* Proven success delivering enterprise-grade applications in cloud or distributed systems environments
* Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
* Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data modeling, and relational databases
* Hands-on experience with Agile SCRUM or SAFe development methodologies
* A passion for coaching and mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and geographies
* Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset ready to learn, adapt, and lead through change
