Repair Engineer Job Description

We're seeking a skilled and innovative Repair Engineer to join our team. As a Repair Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading and supporting aircraft engine repairs and maintenance, ensuring tasks are completed according to aviation regulations and industry standards.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and aeronautical engineering principles, with experience in interpreting technical data, maintenance records, and engineering drawings. You'll work closely with maintenance teams, engineers, and suppliers to implement efficient and effective repair solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop repairs for commercial engines, modules, and components to achieve maintenance cost, performance, and life objectives
  • Identify and develop new repair technologies and creative applications of existing ones to address business needs
  • Define and coordinate substantiation activities (design, analysis, testing, etc.) needed to demonstrate airworthiness of serviceable or repaired components
  • Own technical publications relevant to engines, components, or sub-assemblies
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Sense of ownership, attitude for collaboration, proactivity
  • Good technical skills
  • Good interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Clear thinking and diligent approach
