Join our team as a Senior Associate in Aircraft Engine Repair and Maintenance

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Associate to lead and support all aircraft engine repairs and maintenance, ensuring tasks are completed according to aviation regulations and industry standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to utilize their technical skills and expertise in repairing commercial engines, modules, and components while driving business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or aeronautical engineering, with relevant certifications and experience in aviation engine repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop repairs for commercial engines, modules, and components to achieve maintenance cost, performance, and life objectives;
  2. Identify and develop new repair technologies and creative applications of existing ones to address business needs;
  3. Define and coordinate substantiation activities (design, analysis, testing) to demonstrate airworthiness of serviceable or repaired components;
  4. Owning technical publications relevant to engines, components, or sub-assemblies;
  5. Analyzing and interpreting technical data, maintenance logs, and records to determine required repairs and maintenance tasks;
  6. Collaborating with aircraft maintenance teams and engineers to develop repair processes;
  7. Conducting research and analysis to identify suitable repair techniques, materials, and equipment;
  8. Collaborating with internal teams to provide technical guidance and support during the repair process;
  9. Documenting all repair development activities, including repair specifications, procedures, and outcomes;
  10. Staying updated with the latest advancements in aviation engine repair techniques, materials, and regulations;
  11. Providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of repair processes and procedures;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university;
  • Sense of ownership, attitude for collaboration, proactivity;
  • Good technical skills;
  • Good interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills;
  • Clear thinking and diligent approach;
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certification in aviation engine maintenance and repair;
  • Prior experience in aviation engine repair and maintenance;
  • Proficient in interpreting technical data, maintenance records, and engineering drawings – CAD;
  • Experience and knowledge in FEA, stress analysis activities;
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and industry standards;
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to perform accurate inspections and repairs;
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
  • Proficient in using computerized systems and software for documenting and tracking repair activities;
  • Curiosity and passion for in-service aviation engines;
  • Good materials and special processes knowledge;
  • Previous experience in aerospace design;
