Bioprocess Development Specialist

We are seeking a Bioprocess Development Specialist to support upstream process development, process scale up, and process characterization for monoclonal antibody manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop scalable and robust processes to meet product yield and quality targets.
  2. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies during process development and scale up.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for technical discussions related to process development, technology transfer, and process improvement.
  4. Participate in technology transfer activities and coordinate with program management and cross-functional teams to deliver on project timelines.
  5. Support regulatory dossier preparation, filing, and audits.
  6. Stay current with the latest advancements in bioprocessing and bioprocess modeling.
  7. Analyze upstream data to inform technical decisions.
  8. Record and review raw data according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  9. Present work results and write technical documents.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in one of the following areas:

  1. Omics technologies – Metabolomics, metabolic flux analysis.
  2. Bioprocess modeling – Metabolic modeling, process modeling, digital twin for bioreactors or cells.
  3. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) – To simulate bioreactor mixing.

This role is open to recent PhD graduates only.
