Job Summary

The Chief Manager role entails overseeing the entire lifecycle of new business, from issuance to fulfillment. This includes managing WIP, coordinating with distribution and policy issuance teams, and driving operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with distribution heads through regular engagement and performance monitoring.

Issuance and Fulfillment

  • Manage daily progress on WIP to meet monthly targets.
  • Drive WIP clearance through collaboration with hub teams.
  • Conduct regular governance calls with HUB teams.
  • Ensure seamless end-to-end WIP management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement change initiatives.

Data and Insights

  • Deliver actionable reports and analysis on key business metrics.
  • Provide data sets, reports, and dashboards to support distribution teams.
  • Collaborate with internal departments on report automation.
  • Prepare presentations for senior management as required.

Control and Governance

  • Develop and maintain SOPs and 4-sheeters.
  • Document and control changes in existing processes.
  • Process service requests according to defined SLAs.

Projects and Growth

  • Conduct benchmarking to establish best-in-class delivery standards.
  • Implement new guidelines for distribution adherence.

Team Leadership

  • Develop team members to perform effectively and efficiently.

Performance Metrics

  • Monthly governance engagements with Distribution leaders.
  • Publish Monthly Issuance Dashboard/Scorecard.
  • Drive Operational efficiencies with Distribution team.
  • Achieve 92% M0 Issuance.
  • Achieve 94% M2 Issuance.
  • Achieve FTR of 85%.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through resolution of escalations and requests.
  • Complete 1 Green/Black belt project within the year.
