Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our organization. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring application-related products like oacore, oafm apache etc.
  • Establishing and maintaining backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Taking care of database design and implementation.
  • Implementing and maintaining database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
  • Providing 24/7 support as part of a team.
  • Performing general technical troubleshooting and consulting with development teams.
  • Interfacing with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
  • Patch management and version control.
  • Performing database and application tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Cloning DEV and TEST environments.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite r12.2 and Applications knowledge in supply chain and financials.
  • Experience with the Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 through 19c.
  • Experience with Demantra Administration.
  • Knowledge of Exadata and Data Guard.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and Linux scripts.
  • Oracle Access Manager integration with EBS and Demantra is a plus.
  • Wide knowledge of general databases including DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, and Golden Gate is a plus.
