A Database Expert is required to join our team in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the smooth functioning of our databases through tasks such as database administration, replication, troubleshooting, and database security.

Key Responsibilities

- Administration: Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Security: Implement and maintain robust database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, and configuring database parameters.

- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex database issues, including performance problems, data corruption, and system failures.

- Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, ensuring business continuity and minimizing data loss.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in database concepts and administration.

- Database Experience: Freshers or experienced candidates with basic knowledge of Oracle database administration can apply.

- Architecture Understanding: Understanding of Oracle database architecture, including datafiles, control files, redo logs, and undo management.

Additional Requirements

- Concepts Familiarity: Familiarity with Oracle database concepts, including SQL and PL/SQL.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.

Technical Skills

- Database Administration: Experience with Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

- SQL Proficiency: Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write efficient and effective database code.

- Enterprise Manager Experience: Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM), including configuration, management, and monitoring of database environments.
