Job Title: API Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior API Management Developer/Jr Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust API management solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in integration implementation and architecture, as well as hands-on experience with API management tools, preferably IBM API Connect (APIC). You will also have sound knowledge on the REST API, API lifecycle management, security (OAuth, JWT, MTLS), and API gateway patterns.

You will need to have proven experience with API governance, developer portal configuration, and subscription models, as well as experience in building CI/CD pipelines and automation for API deployment. Familiarity with Observability concepts, Open Telemetry and Splunk is also a plus.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure APIs that meet the needs of our clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our API management infrastructure and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust API management solutions
  • Develop and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect (APIC) or similar tools
  • Implement API governance, developer portal configuration, and subscription models
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and automate API deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop APIs
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to the API management infrastructure

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of experience in API management and development
  • Strong experience in integration implementation and architecture
  • Hands-on experience with API management tools, preferably IBM API Connect (APIC)
  • Sound knowledge on the REST API, API lifecycle management, security (OAuth, JWT, MTLS), and API gateway patterns
  • Proven experience with API governance, developer portal configuration, and subscription models
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and automation for API deployment
