Job Title: API Quality Assurance Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to ensure the quality and reliability of APIs and integrations. The ideal candidate has expertise in testing tools, a deep understanding of REST/SOAP protocols, and hands-on experience with API platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand API specifications and business requirements.
  • Design comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scenarios for API platforms.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of APIs.
  • Validate RESTful and SOAP-based APIs.
  • Simulate downstream system responses and execute API mocking.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7+ years in API testing, with 3+ years in API platform testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, ReadyAPI).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft platform components and architecture.
  • Understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML, OAuth2, JWT, and API security standards.
