About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Manager to develop and implement social media strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and support for our mission.

This role requires expertise in social media marketing, content creation, and community management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing social media accounts, crafting engaging content, and fostering meaningful interactions with followers.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to promote our mission and programs across various platforms.
  • Create compelling and visually appealing content, including posts, graphics, photos, videos, and stories, to showcase shelter animals, success stories, and events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, volunteers, and community partners to source content ideas and user-generated content.
  • Schedule and publish content according to a content calendar, ensuring consistent posting and brand messaging across platforms.
  • Monitor social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimize content performance and stay ahead of industry changes.
Requirements:
  • Total 4+ years of hands-on experience in managing social media accounts for diverse brands or organizations.
  • Demonstrated track record of 4+ years in crafting and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Proven experience of 4+ years in analyzing social media metrics and trends to inform content creation and campaign optimization.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated proficiency in content creation, including graphic design, video editing, and copywriting.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices.
