Senior Quality Control Manager

Leads the implementation of quality assurance and control processes in the food industry to meet regulatory standards, customer expectations, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance Strategy:
    • Develops and executes quality control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.
    • Oversight of regular audits, inspections, and testing processes across all production stages.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Supervises the quality control team to monitor and evaluate the production process, ensuring consistency and safety.
    • Develops protocols for raw material inspection, in-process control, and finished product testing.
    • Addresses any quality deviations or non-conformities promptly and implements corrective actions.
  • Certification & Compliance:
    • Maintains certifications and compliance with industry standards (ISO, BRC, etc.).
    • Ensures proper documentation of all quality control processes and procedures for internal and external audits.
    • Collaboration with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Implements continuous improvement initiatives for product quality and process efficiency.
    • Collaborates with the R&D, production, and procurement teams to address quality-related issues and innovate solutions.
    • Leads quality training programs for staff to maintain high standards and awareness.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manages and mentors the quality control team, ensuring proper resource allocation and professional development.
    • Fosters a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization.
